About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is hiring a Paramedic for our Emergency Department! This role involves assisting with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The hospital is a joint venture between Tenet Healthcare, USPI, and Baylor Scott & White network, serving the Fort Worth community since 2014. It offers a wide spectrum of medical services including an Emergency Department, inpatient units, an intensive care unit, and advanced diagnostic imaging. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art operating rooms and specializes in various surgical services such as ENT, Bariatric, Pulmonary, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Craniotomy.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Completion of basic arrhythmia course
- Current EMT or Paramedic certification
- BLS Required
- Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital or ambulance setting.
- Good communication and people skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent clinical skills appropriate for an EMT or Paramedic
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpful
