About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for direct physical and technically skilled care and monitoring of assigned patients under the direction of the ED RNCC. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary, self-managed work team.

Requirements

Completion of EMT or EMT-IV Training program
Current AEMT or Paramedic licensure for the state of Tennessee
Employee must have valid BLS when hired.
ACLS, TNCC, PALS and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs delegated aspects of age appropriate patient care and technical patient care skills including basic first aid, phlebotomy, respiratory care, 12 lead EKGs, Psych patient care and monitoring
Collecting and reporting vital signs
Transportation of patients to and from hospital departments and clinical units
Basic stocking of ED supplies
Maintain a safe, clean and well-stocked environment for patients
