About The Position

The EMT Intermediate is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The Advanced EMT must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. Must also be able to participate in departmental committees, public relations, and outreach education. Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Lubbock ⁠Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements. Flexible and available to work on a variable shift which may include days, evenings, or nights shifts. Work Status Available: Per Diem / On Call Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies. Shift Available: Variable Shifts Hours: Shift length: 24 hours (7am - 7am)

Requirements

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License
• Upon hire: Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License Texas
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
