About The Position

The Atlantic Mobile Health Training Center, part of AMH Clinical and Quality, is comprised of highly talented instructors covering a broad array of courses providing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (BLS/CPR), EMT Initial & Continuing Education, ALS Continuing Education, conducting over 1,000 classes/year with over 20,000 students/year. Requirements

  • Compliance with NJ OEMS requirements for EMT training.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular schedule courses to meet the educational needs of AMH clinicians, AHS team members, and other customers.
  • Ensure quality customer service is delivered and that internal and external customers’ needs are met.
  • Ensure completeness of all associated course/student paperwork, and compliance with NJ OEMS requirements for EMT training.
  • Adhere to all AMH/AHS policies and educational philosophies and to those of regulating organizations (i.e., AHA, NJ OEMS, NAEMT, etc.).
  • Demonstrate effective teaching skills and be responsive to students’ needs and concerns; adapt teaching style to meet the students’ learning needs.
  • Travel to off-site courses locations within the communities served by AHS as needed.
  • Be punctual and prepared for all assigned courses; conduct self in a pleasant and professional manner always and adhere to the dress code.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding students’ progress and outcomes.
  • Report any student issues to Lead/Coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Complete all required paperwork legibly and return completed paperwork and payments to Coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Attend instructor meetings as scheduled and participate in instructor updates as required.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and accountability to assure efficient operations and to provide education that improves patient outcomes throughout the community and region.
  • Work effectively and relate well with others, including supervisors, colleagues, and internal and external customers.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and maintain constructive working relationships.
