Anderson County EMS provides 911 emergency response and convalescent transport for more than 80,000 residents across 345 square miles, responding to over 20,000 calls annually. The work is varied, clinical decisions matter, and you will be part of a team that supports one another through demanding calls and everyday growth. As an EMT, you will be expected to practice to the full scope authorized by your license, our protocols, and medical direction. On appropriate calls, you will have opportunities to assess patients, make clinical decisions, and perform EMT interventions as an active member of the care team. We want providers who take pride in their craft, use these resources well, and keep learning as patient care evolves. Our mission is to care for our community, which includes the people doing the work. We aim to give employees the support, resources, and room to develop that make a lasting EMS career possible. We are still learning and improving, and we value team members who want to help us do that together.
