About The Position
The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY is seeking EMTs to join our Parker At Your Door program to serve as call center technicians. This position requires an EMT Certification and a valid Driver License.
Requirements
- EMT Certification
- Valid Driver License
- Certified as an EMT in New York
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active and Valid Driver License
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to communicate clearly and concisely in English
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in another language a plus
Responsibilities
- Scheduling/arranging medical appointments and transportation
- Ensuring the safe and timely transportation of providers to community appointments
