About The Position

The EMT-Basic is responsible for the delivery of quality care for ill or injured patients under varied conditions in collaboration with departmental specific personnel. The EMT-Basic must be highly motivated and able to function using assessment skills and written standards when physician contact is not possible. This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Lubbock Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies.

Requirements

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician Advanced License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or Texas Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire, Or Texas Emergency Medical Technician License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
