About The Position

This full-time position involves administering emergency medical care and first aid, operating ambulances safely, and coordinating with other medical professionals. The role requires assessing and prioritizing patient treatment, safely immobilizing and transporting patients, and operating life support and diagnostic equipment. Responsibilities also include maintaining documentation, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring vehicle readiness. Continuous training and skill enhancement are expected.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Texas EMT certification
• BLS certification
• Valid Driver's license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency medical care and first aid
• Safe Ambulance operation to locations as directed
• Coordinate with first responders and medical staff
• Assess and prioritize patient treatment
• Immobilize and transport patients safely
• Operate life support and diagnostic equipment
• Maintain documentation and reports (ePCR software)
• Sanitize ambulance and equipment post-transport
• Maintain vehicle and notify of equipment malfunctions
• Adhere to medical protocols, health, and safety standards
• Continuous training and skill enhancement
