About The Position

Bitterroot Health is seeking an EMT or AEMT to join their team in scenic Montana. This role involves responding to calls for out-of-hospital emergency medical services and providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing injury or illness. Care is delivered in accordance with Montana Pre-Hospital Treatment Guidelines with access to online medical control. This is a highly visible and respected role within the community, requiring interaction with patients, families, first responders, and partner agencies with professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgment, while always prioritizing the safety and well-being of the patient and the public. This position is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, values teamwork, and is committed to excellence in emergency care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Montana EMT or AEMT license required
• Must be at least 21 years of age (insurance coverage requirement)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and discern critical information quickly
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Sound judgment and professionalism under stress

Nice To Haves

• One year as a BLS provider preferred

Responsibilities
