Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of scheduling, administrative, EMS, healthcare, dispatch, or related experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Ninth Brain
  • EMS, healthcare, or public safety scheduling experience
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and workforce scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain employee schedules using Ninth Brain scheduling software.
  • Coordinate shift coverage, PTO requests, overtime, and schedule adjustments.
  • Monitor staffing levels and proactively resolve scheduling challenges.
  • Communicate schedule updates with employees and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and assist with payroll support.
  • Generate staffing reports and identify scheduling trends.
  • Work collaboratively with Operations and Human Resources to support workforce planning.
  • Help welcome new employees by coordinating initial scheduling and onboarding needs.
  • Support projects that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, and workplace culture.
  • Assist in coordinating TRAA's Employee Mentorship Program, helping new employees build connections and succeed.
  • Recommend improvements that increase scheduling efficiency and enhance employee experience.
