About The Position

Join Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living as a Lead Security and Emergency Services Officer. The role provides leadership and mentorship to Security and Emergency Services officers and assists the supervisor with program compliance, implementation of new protocols, quality improvement, training, and administrative support. The position supports a continuing care retirement community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification.
• HSI Level 3 Instructor Certification, or ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor, and coach employees.
• Participate in QAPI activities to improve patient care and resident satisfaction.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds.
• Perform safety checks and inspections in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with established policies and applicable laws.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide or direct prompt, efficient care to ill or injured people.
• Maintain positive resident relations and respond to inquiries, concerns, or problems from residents and families.
• Assist the Security and Emergency Services Supervisor with program compliance, new protocols, quality improvement, training, and administrative support.
