About The Position

The EMS Inventory Technician supports Allina Health EMS by ensuring critical supplies and equipment are ready for use in a hospital-based EMS system. The role prepares vehicles and equipment for service through cleaning, stocking, and testing; maintains vehicle and equipment inventory; and performs basic troubleshooting. This position is listed as 0.5 FTE (40 hours per two-week pay period), with a 10-hour day/evening/night shift and an every-other-weekend rotation.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and have the education and/or experience needed to meet the required functional competencies listed in the job description.
• Valid driver's license required upon hire. Minnesota and Wisconsin residents must obtain a valid driver's license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for service.
• Prepare bags and bins with supplies and equipment.
• Stock vehicles.
• Clean and disinfect vehicles and equipment for service.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assign vehicles and equipment.
• Perform basic vehicle troubleshooting.
• Calibrate equipment for deployment and report deficiencies.
• Maintain the work area.
• Clean, sweep, mop, and disinfect the garage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
