About The Position

Capital Health is seeking an EMS Instructor (Advanced) for its M.I.C.U.-Education department. This part-time position involves conducting advanced level training courses for emergency and non-emergency medical personnel and the lay public. The instructor will maintain attendance records, ensure instructorship is current with recognized national or state agencies, and participate in identifying educational needs. The role requires teaching throughout the year, integrating evidence-based practice and Capital Health regulatory standards, and modifying teaching methodology based on course evaluations. A variety of instructional methods and teaching strategies will be employed, and the instructor will participate in developing and updating educational materials, applying adult learning theory principles.

  • Participates in developing, updating, and maintaining educational materials.
  • Applies principles of adult learning theory to facilitate learning.
