About The Position
This position is responsible for educating and training individuals in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The role involves teaching various life support and trauma courses, ensuring compliance with certification requirements, and contributing to the professional development of staff within UW Health Swedish American Hospital.
Requirements
- At least two years field experience in Emergency Services.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois.

- RN with current field and teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor courses.
- Teach Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor courses.
- Teach Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor courses.
- Teach Basic Life Support Instructor courses.
- Ensure employees attain required certifications within the first year of employment.
- Maintain Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Maintain current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois.
