EMS Educator
About The Position
We are looking for an EMS Educator to design and deliver EMS education programs including CPR, EMT, Intermediate, and Paramedic courses in accordance with established standards. This role will evaluate and support EMS learners and staff through exams, continuing education, field supervision, and licensure preparation. The EMS Educator will also develop curriculum and manage educational programs by maintaining course materials, records, equipment, and accreditation requirements. Additionally, this role will partner with EMS leadership and staff to support quality improvement, field performance evaluation, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- At least two years field experience in Emergency Services.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor certification (within first year of employment).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor certification (within first year of employment).
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor certification (within first year of employment).
- Basic Life Support Instructor certification (within first year of employment).
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
- Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois.

- Active EMT-P, RN with current field and teaching experience.
