The EMS Community Educator/Instructor will be responsible for creating and teaching educational content for EMS providers of all levels. This role involves participating in QA/QI as needed and typically follows a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for at least two evenings per month, totaling 32 hours per week. The position aims to foster strong partnerships, act as a liaison between various healthcare entities and the community, and ensure EMS program goals are met. The educator will also standardize program operations in cooperation with the EMS medical director, plan and implement education programs compliant with state and national standards, and maintain service standards with regional EMS providers and affiliates. Additionally, the role involves providing updates to leadership, resolving conflicts, and offering on-scene medical direction and assessment under the EMS Medical Director's approval.
