The EMS Clinical Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating all clinical and field internship components of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program. This position ensures that student clinical experiences meet all requirements established by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP), the North Carolina Office of Emergency Medical Services (NCOEMS), the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS), and Pitt Community College (PCC). The Clinical Coordinator maintains the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all clinical documentation and serves as the primary liaison between PCC, clinical affiliates, preceptors, and students. This role is critical in ensuring that all student clinical hours, patient contacts, and competencies are valid, verified, and auditable.
