About The Position
Unified Fire Authority is recruiting for Part-Time EMS EMT/AEMT and Paramedic Ambulance Technicians. These non-firefighting positions are paid on an hourly basis and are staffed on ambulances housed at select fire stations. In addition to emergency response, these positions provide medical stand-by needs at various large gathering events year-round and valley-wide. This job can be physically strenuous, requiring members to lift heavier objects up and down flights of stairs.
Requirements
- Valid Utah State Driver's License
- Current Utah State EMT/AEMT or Paramedic License (License must be in good standing and current with Utah Bureau of EMS)
- Current American Heart Association BLS CPR provider certification (or equivalent and listed as approved by Utah Bureau of EMS)
- Paramedic- Current ACLS/ PALS (or equivalent and listed as approved by Utah Bureau of EMS) required.
- Successfully complete an EMS skills evaluation commensurate with level of Utah state EMS license.
- Be available for a minimum of 48 hours each month.
