About The Position

MSSU is seeking an Adjunct instructor(s) to teach on campus in the area(s) of Emergency Medical Services, beginning August 3, 2026. This position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. The selected candidate must be available on the Missouri Southern State University campus on Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The remaining hours will be dedicated to conducting clinical rotation site visits and checks within the Joplin area. Requirements

  • Nationally Registered Paramedic with the NREMT
  • Valid State Paramedic license
  • 3 years of experience as an ALS provider
