About The Position

Join our dynamic Information Services team as an EMR Analyst II supporting Epic Radiant, where you will play a key role in optimizing radiology, imaging, and endoscopy workflows across Cincinnati Children’s. As a valued member of the Epic Radiant team, you will leverage technology to support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care by enhancing imaging and procedural operations, improving workflow integration, and ensuring system reliability. In this role, you will collaborate closely with radiology, procedural, and operational partners to design, implement, and maintain Epic Radiant solutions that support end-to-end imaging and procedural workflows. You will bring strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support system build, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance while ensuring alignment with clinical and operational needs. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Epic Radiant certification (or willingness to obtain within six (6) months of hire)
  • Additional Epic certifications (e.g., Lumens, Cupid, Ambulatory, OpTime, or related modules) preferred
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Epic systems in a healthcare environment, including system build, configuration, testing, and optimization
  • Demonstrated experience supporting radiology, imaging, or endoscopy workflows, including order-to-result and modality integration processes
  • Experience collaborating with Radiology, procedural areas, and clinical operations to translate workflow needs into system solutions
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows across inpatient and outpatient imaging and procedural environments
  • Experience participating in or leading moderately complex projects, including enhancements, upgrades, or system implementations
  • Background in troubleshooting system issues, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives
  • Experience developing and delivering end-user training or educational materials to support system adoption
  • Familiarity with integration points between Epic and third-party imaging systems (e.g., PACS, VNA, or other radiology technologies and image capture platforms)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance considerations related to clinical systems

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, implement, and maintain moderately complex systems that greatly improves clinical care and patient management.

  • Recommends opportunities for and participates in process improvement to advance education and learning processes, content tracking, content review and revision.
  • Drives the use of multivariate learning modalities to cover the adult learning spectrum and clinical system education need.

  • Communicate to supervisor regarding overall issues, roadblocks.

  • Consult with and support the end user community to develop and validate requirements for system solutions.

  • Ensure outstanding end-user support is provided, including ongoing monitoring of Service Level Agreements for incident management and collaboration with other areas to ensure customer-centered incident management and support.
