As an Employment Training Specialist, you'll work one-on-one with individuals who have secured employment, providing job coaching, encouragement, advocacy, and skill development. You'll celebrate milestones, overcome challenges together, and play a direct role in helping people reach their goals and thrive at work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a Health & Welfare criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in vocational rehabilitation, special education, teaching, counseling, human services, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct job coaching and support to individuals employed in community workplaces.
• Help clients develop vocational skills and workplace success strategies.
• Advocate for clients and support their growth toward greater independence.
• Collaborate with employers, families, and support teams.
• Encourage, motivate, and celebrate client achievements.
