About The Position

Works with referrals from the Department of Developmental Services supporting people with vocational supports in securing employment, maintaining employment and striving towards independence with community-based employment. Case manage and develop employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Work closely with State funding sources in a collaborative team approach. Assist clients with a variety of job seeking skills; resume writing, interview skills, travel training and job etiquette. Get creative with providing; vocational guidance, job development, job placement, job coaching and customer relations with employer.

Requirements

  • Ability to use computers including Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 3 years driving experience.
  • Good driving record.
  • Use of vehicle.
  • Willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle.
  • Ability to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices, and community organizations.
