The Employment Support Professional III is primarily responsible for supporting people to achieve their personal dreams and goals through obtaining and maintaining competitive employment within their community. This role involves helping individuals identify and pursue long-term employment goals, understand how benefits are affected by earned income, and make informed decisions about disclosing their psychiatric status to employers. The position requires developing holistic interventions, identifying necessary resources and accommodations, and coordinating services to create and update individual employment plans. A significant portion of the role involves community-based work, including job development, task analysis, and providing direct support to individuals to ensure they perform job tasks to the employer's satisfaction. The professional will also provide ongoing follow-along support, educate employers, and conduct outreach to individuals who miss appointments. Additionally, the role includes assisting individuals with career development, meeting placement and billing goals, and maintaining flexibility in scheduling to meet job demands. Comprehensive documentation, team communication, and collaboration with external providers are essential. The position may require travel and driving.
