About The Position

PAI is seeking a compassionate and reliable Employment Specialist I to work directly with people served in the community, helping them succeed in their jobs and develop their skills. The role focuses on on-site job coaching and transportation, while also supporting job exploration and placement services when not working in the community. The position is based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, and the surrounding metro area. The hourly rate is $20–$21, depending on experience. PAI is a mission-driven nonprofit providing services to individuals with disabilities in Ramsey and Washington counties. Requirements

Experience in human services, job coaching, or related work, specifically with individuals with disabilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to support individuals with varying abilities in community job settings.
Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and person-centered services.
Flexibility to work in the community and on-site at PAI.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site job coaching to participants at their workplaces, helping them feel supported and prepared for success.
Transport participants to and from job sites as needed.
Help participants explore employment opportunities, develop job goals, and strengthen job-seeking skills.
Identify potential employers and network with local businesses to build partnerships.
Deliver services professionally and with person-centered care.
Communicate clearly and provide updates and documentation about participant progress and employment goals.
