About The Position

Bloom Consulting is seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Specialist to join our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program in Missoula, MT. This contracted position offers meaningful growth potential. As the caseload develops to a sustainable level, the role is intended to transition into full-time employment with benefits. Requirements

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with High Schools, students, employers, and stakeholders.
Able to manage schedule and maintain case notes and other administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

Proven ability to build connections with businesses and market programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and coordinate Work-Based Learning Experiences, Job shadows, and/or Informational Interviews with local employers.
Support students as they practice workplace skills and navigate job expectations.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local employers, addressing any concerns or behaviors that arise on-site.
Market the program to businesses to create new employment opportunities for students.
Document student progress and attend meetings with VRBS, School Liaisons, and employers as needed.
Some travel in the greater Missoula Area
Training as required by the state of Montana
