About The Position

The Philadelphia, PA office of Kaufman Dolowich, a full-service National Law firm with more than 250 attorneys across 16 offices and over 25 practice areas, is actively seeking an attorney to join our growing Labor and Employment practice group. Our Employment Practice Group represents employers in complex and high-profile employment matters across a broad range of industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation, research, writing, and advocacy skills, with experience independently managing sophisticated employment matters through all phases of litigation.

Requirements

  • Admission to practice in Pennsylvania required
  • 3+ years of litigation experience
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong desire for professional growth and advancement

Nice To Haves

  • New Jersey admission is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and responding to written discovery, pleadings, and motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Preparing for and participating in hearings, mediations, and court appearances
  • Conducting legal research and developing litigation strategies
  • Managing case files and assisting with all aspects of case progression from inception through resolution
  • Performing case assessments and evaluating liability and exposure
  • Maintaining proactive communication with clients while providing strategic legal guidance and case updates
  • Collaborating closely with Partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters
