About The Position
The Instructor assists with Supported Employment through the OVR program for the summer program. Daytime hours are required to support youth during the summer work programming.
Requirements
- High School or GED required
- Minimum one year of paid experience working with young adults.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contact and meet with area employers to establish relationships.
- Develop supportive relationships with participants.
- Help prepare employment proposals and negotiate job opportunities.
- Ensure compliance.
- Assist with development of job readiness skills and interviewing skills.
