We recognize the value of community knowledge, multilingualism, and diverse lived experiences in strengthening our work. We especially encourage multilingual individuals who live and work in the community, and those from historically marginalized communities—including immigrants, refugees, Native/Indigenous communities, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and veterans—to apply. If you are passionate about supporting people with developmental disabilities and our mission, we invite you to apply even if your background does not match every listed qualification. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of supporting someone with a developmental disability. As an Employment Consultant, you will get to support the clients on your caseload through their employment and/or community inclusion journey. You will get to help clients realize their strengths and use it towards finding and maintaining employment in their communities. For Community Inclusion clients, you will be the support person for them to find inclusive activities in their community where they can participate in their best way possible, can make connections with others, and enjoy the time they spend at the activity.
