Employment Case Manager - Staten Island

About The Position

AHRC New York City is seeking an Employment Case Manager for its Staten Island Employment Business Services (EBS) Pathway to Employment Program. The role supports people in achieving employment goals through person-centered planning, work-readiness training, and community partnerships. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 35 hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events. Compensation is $38,000–$42,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes free medical insurance.

Requirements

Associate's degree.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently when needed.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Experience instructing, coaching, or mentoring program participants.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
Two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Experience driving a small van.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and conduct person-centered services for people enrolled in Pathway to Employment and Community Based Prevocational services.
Conduct individual and group activities focused on discovering and developing participants’ strengths related to employment skills.
Provide excellent customer service to participants and community partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with funding sources, service providers, schools, training sites, employers, participants, and families.
Ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations.
