The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, exceptional advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage sophisticated employment matters in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience
Admission to practice in New Jersey required; New York admission is a plus
Strong experience handling matters in state and federal court
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload and prioritize multiple deadlines
Superior academic credentials and strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

Experience counseling employers on employment law compliance and workplace policies preferred

Responsibilities

Independently handle all phases of employment litigation from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
Conduct and defend depositions
Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
Manage matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims
Advise and counsel employers on workplace issues, compliance, and risk management
Develop litigation strategy and maintain strong client relationships
