About The Position

Chiesa, Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is seeking an associate attorney for its Employment Practice Group. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-starter with over 4 years of experience in employment law, including litigation, providing advice and counsel to employers, and drafting employment-related documents. Requirements

4+ years of experience in employment law.
Experience in employment litigation defending discrimination matters, retaliation, restrictive covenants and wage and hour litigation in the state and federal courts of NJ and NY and before government agencies.
Experience providing advice and counsel to employers on various employment-related issues including wage and hour, mitigation of risk, performance management, workplace accommodations, leave laws, and reductions-in-force.
Experience drafting employment agreements, employment handbooks and related policies.
Working knowledge of federal, New Jersey, New York State and New York City employment laws.
Excellent legal research, drafting and writing ability, and analytical and verbal communication skills.
