VPI is a Service Provider for Employment Ontario, funded by the Ontario Government to support jobseekers and employers. With over 30 years of experience, VPI operates in multiple locations across Southern Ontario. Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of VPI's services and Employment Ontario program eligibility.
  • Develop and maintain a diversified employer portfolio to meet client needs.
  • Advocate for clients' skill sets to employers, emphasizing individuals from marginalized and underrepresented groups.
  • Connect VPI's value proposition to employer workforce development needs, ensuring strong job seeker-employer matches.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding for job seekers and employers, arranging necessary accommodations.
  • Stay current with prevailing labor market conditions and local/regional labor market developments.
  • Coordinate employer events, including job fairs and engagement events.
  • Support a caseload of job-ready clients with higher barriers into sustainable employment, maximizing financial support within program guidelines.
  • Conduct site visits (virtual or in-person) to assess employer eligibility and ensure program compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and employer profiles in real-time.
  • Meet all monthly and yearly targets, including Financial Support.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Collaborate with the team to share best practices and innovative approaches.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, labor market conditions, and emerging needs.
  • Perform other duties as required.
