About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a remote Employee Relations Partner to join our team! Work Schedule Monday – Friday, day shift. This role conducts detailed investigations into a range of employee relations concerns such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and workplace violence, adhering to all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. The partner will provide clear, timely communication regarding investigations, offering comprehensive reports with supporting documentation. They will employ effective interviewing and documentation techniques and adeptly manage cases using the designated online case management tool, ServiceNow. This role supports the development of an inclusive and positive workplace culture, and coaches Managers in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement plans. The partner also collaborates with business leaders/HR Leaders reviewing termination recommendations and provides clear, concise, and timely communication, report summaries, and relevant documentation regarding investigations.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in Employee Relations (ER) or as a Human Resource Business Partner
  • Experience conducting investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including performance management, interpersonal manager/employee conflicts or complaints, leaves, accommodations, and behavioral conduct issues.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment and labor laws.
  • Ability to problem solve with minimal guidance but willingness to ask for help if appropriate.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct a thorough and complete investigation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with minimal guidance required.
  • Flexibility and willingness to handle competing priorities and assist others as needed in a team environment.
  • Ability to make timely along with informed objective decisions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
  • Human Resources Certification such as SPHR-CP, SPHR-SCP, PHR, or aPHR
