About The Position

The Human Resources Office is seeking an Employee Relations Officer who will serve as the primary labor relations expert for OHFA. This role involves conducting investigatory interviews, reviewing, updating, maintaining, formulating, and facilitating the implementation of HR policies. The Officer will also serve as the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator for OHFA staff, including receiving and acting on ADA requests, and as the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Act representative to prevent and address harassment and discrimination for OHFA staff and applicants. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Policy, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field; AND 3 years' experience in Human Resources of which at least two years are directly related to labor relations; AND possess experience with EEO, ADA, and/or policy writing.
  • OR 5 years' experience in Human Resources of which at least three years' experience is directly related to labor relations; AND possess experience with EEO, ADA, and/or policy writing.

Responsibilities
