About The Position

This job, under general supervision and according to established policies, procedures, and/or guidelines, supports, advises, develops and consults with managers and employees in the knowledge, skills and pragmatic approaches needed to address an array of common HR issues. Utilizes various information systems to process information, answer questions and problem solve in an effective and timely manner. Supports regulatory, legal and administrative HR processes, provides project management support to various HR strategies and administrative support. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 2 years of related experience in HR.
  • 6 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Investigative and consulting skills.
  • Basic knowledge of employee law.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak and present information in both classroom settings and in large groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to travel occasionally throughout the day.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Professional in HR (PHR) or Senior Professional in HR (SPHR).

Responsibilities

  • Provides project management support to various HR strategies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
