About The Position

The Employee Lot Attendant provides a vital link to the operation of the parking facility. They are called upon daily to exercise a high degree of professionalism as they interact with a wide variety of airport and airline staff and contractors. Ensuring the only access allowed to the secured lot/s are to those displaying the correct credentials. The EPL attendant reports to the manager on duty.

Requirements

  • Ensure only authorized personnel access secured lots
  • Verify airline, airport, or rental car badge/ID
  • Verify valid, current month employee lot (EPL) hang tag
  • Contact manager on duty and landside operations for policy violations
  • Call computer room for employee assistance (gas, fuel, air, vehicle location)
  • Contact Landside for Pop A Lock or Tow services
  • Record detailed information on daily log
  • Complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Maintain a daily log accurately and legibly
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings
  • Report suspicious activities, medical or crime emergencies immediately to Comm. Center (911) and Computer Room
  • Alert manager on duty if lots are full

Responsibilities

  • Only allow access to the Employee Parking Lot to those displaying proper credentials per vehicle.
  • Proper credentials are an airline, airport, rental car badge/ID plus a valid, current month (not expired) employee lot (EPL) hang tag. Months expire on the 6th day of each new month.
  • Responsible for contacting the manager on duty and landside operations for failing to stop for the credential check at the EPL entry and for any person not providing the proper credentials but parks any way.
  • Responsible for calling the computer room for an employee that may need assistance with gas, fuel, air or locating their vehicle.
  • Responsible for contacting Landside for employees who require Pop A Lock or Tow services. Ensure the Pop A Lock or Tow service wait outside the entry lanes for Landside’s escort in.
  • Record detailed information on daily log.
  • Complete assignment in a timely manner and maintain a daily log accurately and legibly.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activities, medical or crime emergency immediately to Comm. Center (911) and Computer Room.
  • Responsible for alerting the manager on duty if notified that a lot or lots are full.
