Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing/ Patient Care
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board -Required
  • 3 years Nursing/Patient Care
  • 1 year Ambulatory Care Experience
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association- Required within 90 days of hire

  • Tuberculin Skin Test Certification (TB) - American Lung Association
  • Drug Screening Certified

Responsibilities

  • Monitor RL6 daily for employee injuries or exposures.
  • Maintain and enter data into Agility and monitor EHS visits including PPD/Quantiferon, incident report data entry, and case management of injuries.
  • Work closely with Infection Prevention when a communicable disease exposure has occurred.
  • Analyze and complete necessary reports to determine trends including tracking and analyzing all employee incidents.
  • Maintain, monitor, and provide charts according to regulatory agencies such as the Board of Health and HFAP.
  • Process and manage mandatory employee testing, including annual physicals and new hire tests.
  • Ensure lab compliance for, but not limited to titers, exposures, PPD, and hepatitis B vaccines and declinations.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor the flu vaccine program and similar programs as needed.
  • Monitor return to work status for personal injury or illness; notify HR and appropriate manager.
  • Coordinate Fitness for Duty evaluations including FEC, Reasonable Suspicion drug testing, and the EAP mandatory drug program.
  • Provide reports to Infection Control, Safety, Quality and FPO committees and participates in assigned meetings as appropriate.
  • Manage employee health workers compensation cases including coordinating written and verbal communications with Franciscan Alliance workers compensation carrier, and filing claims within their system.
