About The Position

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced professional to join our Employee Communications & Engagement team within the HR organization. As an Employee Engagement Senior Specialist, you will help bring our global engagement strategy to life—building connection, recognition, and community at scale, and enabling employees to do their best work. You’ll partner across HR and the business to deliver experiences that strengthen culture and elevate the day-to-day employee experience. This role reports to the Employee Engagement lead.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working in employee engagement, employee/internal communications, employee experience, culture, community engagement, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a multifaceted program end to end, from concept through execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize, plan, and deliver—supported by a solid understanding of budgets and accounting.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience partnering across teams and presenting to senior leaders.
  • A strong ability to build trusted relationships across levels and apply influence and leadership to align stakeholders and accelerate outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Human Resources, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 5+ years of Human Resources, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, or related work experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Human Resources, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Advance our global engagement strategy in partnership with HR teams and leaders, supporting programs, events, and initiatives across areas including engagement, culture, wellbeing, learning, volunteerism, and onboarding within our governance framework.
  • Drive the evolution and oversee the execution of Qualcomm’s Employee Network program (employee resource groups), expanding opportunities for connection through employee-led programming, events, and community outreach.
  • Lead the design and execution of regional/global cultural observances such as International Women’s Day, Black History Month, Asian American, Native Hawaiian, & Pacific Islander Month, and International Men's Day.
  • Partner with our shared services team to plan and execute global and local employee events, campaigns, and contests—including Employee Appreciation Month, Qkids (bring your kids to work day), Qrun (global 5k), and key company milestones and anniversaries.
  • Support the allocation and tracking of the global engagement budget, ensuring resources are managed effectively, efficiently, and aligned to priorities.
  • Support the development of a refreshed metrics strategy and, once implemented, oversee the program.
  • Create clear, compelling communications that support engagement programs and increase visibility and participation across the organization.
  • Evaluate and enhance the strategy for employee clubs and champion groups to build sustained momentum, participation, and impact.
