About The Position

We are seeking an engaging Experienced Employee Development Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning and development programs that grow employee capabilities, drive performance, and support career progression across the organization. This position will be located in Berkeley, MO.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with flight ramp operations.
  • Willingness to work variable shifts and overtime as needed to support production.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally to support customer needs.
  • Ability to perform tasks while wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) including chemical-resistant clothing, boots, hoods, and gloves, for shifts lasting up to 8 hours.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience working on the T-7A aircraft.
  • Prior experience training maintenance personnel on aircraft delivery programs or in OEM delivery centers.
  • FAA A&P certificate or military aviation maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of T-7A systems, technical data, and ramp-specific procedures.
  • Experience with GSE operations, towing/taxi procedures, and ramp operations.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs analyses with ramp supervisors, quality, maintenance, and operations to identify competency gaps affecting ramp readiness and delivery milestones.
  • Deliver competency-based training (classroom, hands-on, simulation, and OJT) for ramp mechanics on tasks such as tow/taxi procedures, chock/chain/lockout/tagout, fueling coordination, preflight acceptance checks, ground support equipment (GSE) operations, safe ingress/egress, and movement in active ramp environments.
  • Maintain lesson plans, job aids, step-by-step checklists, practical exercises, and evaluation rubrics tailored to ramp tasks and Boeing/T-7A-specific procedures.
  • Manage onboarding and qualification pathways for new ramp technicians (e.g., 30/60/90-day ramp qual checklists, mentorship pairing, OJT sign-offs).
  • Deliver recurrent and emergent training to maintain currency: ramp safety, foreign object debris (FOD) control, hearing conservation, PPE usage, emergency response, and base-specific airfield rules.
  • Schedule and coordinate training to minimize impact on delivery cadence; work closely with operations and QA to sequence training around flightline constraints.
  • Maintain training records, certifications, and qualification timelines in Boeing systems; prepare reports for leadership on readiness and training gaps.
  • Partner with Quality and Safety to integrate corrective actions and lessons-learned into curriculum; ensure training reflects current Technical Data, MEL/CDL considerations, and safety directives.
  • Promote a safety-first culture: conduct risk assessments for practical exercises and ensure strict adherence to ramp and airfield safety protocols.
