The Employee Council exists to foster open communication, collaboration and engagement between staff and Emmanuel Hospice. Its goal is to enhance workplace culture, support employee well-being, and contribute to organizational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of hospice care. This council will be employee- led and organized, ensuring that staff voices drive discussions and initiatives. Objective: Bridge the gaps between Emmanuel Hospice and Staff by promoting communication in keeping with our Vital Behaviors. Uphold and foster Emmanuel Hospice culture and core values of empathy, hope stewardship and respect. Promote initiatives that improve morale, recognition, and team cohesion. Moving discussion to actionable recommendations. Encourage transparency and trust across all levels of Emmanuel Hospice. Provide input for employee survey topics and questions as well as interpretation of results. Membership: Representatives from various departments are wanted (clinical, administrative and support). Members will serve a one-year term, renewable based on interest and performance through the year.
