Alera Group is looking for a Employee Benefits Technology Consultant. Requirements
- Strong Employee Benefits knowledge across multiple funding structures.
- Hands-on experience with at least two HRIS/benefits administration systems.
- Technical proficiency with data structures, file formats, and system testing.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to clients.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting EDI feeds and integrations highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- This role supports both internal technology leadership and external client- facing consulting across small, middle-market, and large group EmployeeBenefits accounts.
- The consultant serves as a systems expert across HRIS and ben-admin platforms while driving operational efficiency and technology adoption.
- Lead client-facing consulting on Employee Benefits technology systems.
- Support HRIS and benefits administration platforms, including ADP, Paylocity, Paycom, Paychex, PlanSource, bswift, and Workday.
- Serve as a lead internal resource for Employee Navigator and BenefitPoint.
- Troubleshoot data, eligibility, deductions, and system integrations.
- Assist with setup and oversight of EDI feeds with payroll vendors.
- Document workflows, conduct QA testing, and support Open Enrollment processes.
