About The Position

This role provides fundamental support for current business applications, including technical assistance to over 350 end users. Key responsibilities involve designing internal business process flow charts to streamline operations while maintaining appropriate audit controls and management reports. The analyst will also develop audit procedures, end-user test plans, and other quality assurance assessments to meet project objectives, including those for new software applications and system upgrades. Additionally, the role requires evaluating current technology usage and making recommendations for efficiency improvements. Other functions include understanding each position within the agency and its agency-wide impact, as well as expanding and growing in the role by supporting miscellaneous duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analyst, project management or comparable position
  • Application development, troubleshooting and updated experience
  • Windows OS, MSOffice, Adobe Application expertise desired
  • Familiarity of relational databases including SQL or Crystal Reports preferred
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team
  • Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion to make customers and coworkers feel important and valued
  • Capability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Methodical, yet swift decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, QlikView or Applied/EPIC (insurance specific system) is a plus
  • Experience utilizing data integration tools such as Informatica a plus
