About The Position

Element Risk is seeking an ambitious, relationship-driven Employee Benefits Producer to drive new business development and expand our employee benefits practice. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new employee benefits opportunities while serving as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, HR leaders, and financial decision makers. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales and consultative skills, a deep understanding of employee benefits strategies, and a proven ability to develop long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Life & Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain immediately).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in employee benefits sales, insurance brokerage, or related consulting field.
  • Proven track record of new business development and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of employee benefits brokerage experience.
  • Existing network of business relationships within Pennsylvania and surrounding markets.
  • Knowledge of self-funded plans, level-funded plans, captives, and alternative funding arrangements.
  • CEBS, RHU, REBC, or similar professional designation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for generating new employee benefits business.
  • Prospect and cultivate relationships with business owners, CFOs, HR executives, and other key decision makers.
  • Conduct comprehensive client discovery meetings to identify employee benefits, compliance, and workforce challenges.
  • Design and present employee benefits solutions including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Group Life, Disability, Voluntary Benefits, Wellness Programs, Executive Benefits.
  • Coordinate with carrier partners and internal service teams to develop competitive benefit programs.
  • Deliver client presentations, proposal reviews, and enrollment strategies.
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools and agency sales processes.
  • Develop referral relationships with CPAs, attorneys, bankers, payroll providers, and other centers of influence.
  • Stay current on healthcare reform, ERISA, ACA compliance, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Property & Casualty Producers to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Represent Element Risk at networking events, industry associations, and community functions.
