Seeking a dedicated Employee Benefits Account Manager to serve as a key liaison between clients and the organization. This role focuses on managing and delivering employee benefits programs while ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities include building strong relationships, resolving client concerns, and overseeing the efficient administration of benefit plans. A successful candidate will bring expertise, professionalism, and a client-focused mindset to the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in account management or client-facing roles, preferably within employee benefits, insurance, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information.
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with benefits administration systems.
  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns regarding benefits plans.
  • Manage daily administration of benefit accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and tailored solutions.
  • Analyze complex benefit plan data and create reports to aid client decision-making.
  • Guide clients through the renewal process by reviewing options, negotiating with carriers, and making recommendations.
  • Conduct employee education sessions and presentations during open enrollment periods.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and underwriting, to maintain high service standards.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market changes affecting employee benefits plans.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and overall client experience.
