About The Position

We're looking for the BEST to grow our family here at Palmen and our wages and benefits reflect that. Reporting to our Service Manager, our Emissions Inspector will be responsible for performing applicable tests and inspections according to local regulations and the vehicle manufacturer Emission standards. Provide exceptional customer service, and maintaining the property, grounds, and equipment. This is a great opportunity to interact with customers and be able to provide a great experience for those entering the service department.

Requirements

Training and certification to perform Wisconsin emissions tests and inspections will be provided
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Committed to excellent customer service

Adaptable and flexible to support business needs, which may include working long hours and/or a varied work schedule
Positive attitude
Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S

Responsibilities

Perform state specific tests and inspections according to the State of Wisconsin regulations and the Vehicle Manufacturer Emission standards
Perform product sales and services
Deliver all services and address all customers with exceptional customer service
Maintain the property, grounds, and equipment at the station
Complete required tasks outlined in the daily checklists at your station
Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
