Onsite

About The Position

I2X Technologies is seeking an EMI/EMC Design and Test Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Boulder, Colorado. This position will be on-site and will require an active TS/SCI. The role involves providing EMI/EMC engineering support to technical teams for the definition and implementation of complex electronics for spacecraft subsystem and assembly level hardware, adhering to MIL-STD-461/462/1541 and SMC-S016 testing requirements. The engineer will support instrument remote sensing and/or spacecraft bus programs, focusing on EMI/EMC requirements, design, issues, and testing throughout the design lifecycle. This includes assisting with the development and flow down of electrical subsystem, box, and board level requirements for space-based and ground electronic architectures, as well as developing and refining EMI/EMC design and test documents and grounding diagrams. The position requires EMI/EMC compliance and analysis using relevant suites, collaborative work across engineering teams, and preparation of presentations for various stakeholders. The engineer will also provide subject matter expertise for technical risk and opportunity assessments, orchestrate team tasks, resolve blockers, and work collaboratively with internal and external customers, including mechanical, thermal, Electrical Systems, and Systems teams to ensure requirement compliance. The role requires working onsite five (5) days/week.
