About The Position

Join our Saint Luke's team as an EMG Technician! This position will help prepare patients for and perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) and prepare patients for needle electromyography (EMG) to be performed by a supervision physician. The role requires the ability to work in a courteous and professional manner with patients, staff, and medical providers. Requirements

Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
Knowledge of basic anatomy and neurophysiology of the neuromuscular system.
Knowledge of HIPPA ASHA standards.
Less than 1 year of experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous EEG/EMG Tech experience preferred.
General understanding of NCS EMG equipment is desirable.
Candidates without NCS EMG training may be considered for in house training.
