About The Position

To learn to perform nerve conduction studies and electromyography, report results and assist in general running of lab and electrodiagnostic studies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience.
  • Anatomy, Physiology

Responsibilities

  • Perform general duties of copying, filing, fax and mailing of reports to appropriate individuals.
  • Perform general upkeep of laboratory and equipment.
  • Assist in performing nerve conduction studies routinely performed in the laboratory and assist in electrodiagnostic studies as required, under supervision of chief technician or director of laboratory.
  • Report findings and calculate nerve conduction values.
  • Perform quantitative sensory testing under supervision.
  • Schedule patients for testing and bookkeeping i.e. (billing information, history).
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
