Emerging Technology Engineer
About The Position
Grande Fond du Lac is seeking an Emerging Technology Engineer to partner closely with Business Technology teams to design, develop, enhance, and support solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and other Enterprise applications. This role is key in delivering innovative business solutions, managing projects through the software development lifecycle, and implementing emerging technologies like automation, cloud-based services, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to improve business operations. As a member of the Business Technology team, you will provide application support, troubleshoot complex issues, participate in solution design and code reviews, and ensure high-quality, scalable deployments using Agile and DevOps best practices. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence technology strategy, and expand expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Logic Apps, and other modern business technologies.
Requirements
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field required. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
- Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years relevant experience in the development, maintenance and support of business applications; or Associate’s degree and five (5) years relevant experience in the development, maintenance and support of business applications required.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining and supporting vendor provided business applications.
- Demonstrated aptitude to lead small to mid-size projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft development tools (Visual Studio, VSCode, DevOps, SSIS), frameworks (.NET Core, C#, Etc.).
- Some proficiency with Azure Cloud PaaS services (AppService, Azure SQL, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc.).
Nice To Haves
- Basic exposure to Microsoft SaaS offerings including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics D365(FnO &CRM) is beneficial.
