About The Position

The Emerging Technologies Developer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and delivering artificial intelligence projects and proofs of concept using traditional development platforms along with low-code / no-code tools. This individual works with the Emerging Technologies Development team and internal stakeholders to identify and deliver automation to promote a more digital internal culture. Lead the development, testing, and lifecycle management of automated processes that leverage various development approaches including traditional development and low-code. Identify and evaluate new opportunities for the adoption of AI/ML technologies. Build relationships with core business line leaders to develop a deep understanding of core business platforms and work collaboratively to integrate new automation and AI/ML offerings.

Requirements

  • Completed College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of technology and design experience in an agile environment
  • Experience with digital technology, relationship management, market research
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.

Nice To Haves

  • UX/UI design experience, project management and software development is an asset
  • Experience programming with a language such as Python, Java, Go, C, or developing applications with low-code/no-code platforms.
  • Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning/RPA
  • SaaS and cloud-based solutions
  • Knowledge of rapid prototyping techniques, agile product development, and other product management practices
